Spring Magazines

Lovely, lovely, lovely Spring Magazines have appeared on the news stands. So many bright and cheery spring photos to cheer the soul at the end of the winter, including the Spring/Summer issue of the wonderful Debbie Bliss Magazine. There are plenty of very good patterns in this to get started on. I am always very keen on Debbie’s styling.

This photo, I just wanted wear in its entirety – I love the kitchen in the background as well. As I have taken more photos in the past year I  spend more time looking at the background of images. I am very envious of the owner of this kitchen.

There are some nice quick and easy projects for the home, and a gorgeous little dress for little girls. So beautiful, and such a clever idea.

In a recent interview for Inside Crochet Magazine, I said that I thought it would be good if Debbie designed crochet (A mad idea really because it makes me feel rather inadequate – but she is brilliant) Well, hurrah she has produced her first Crochet pattern book. Have a quick perusal at the Laughing Hens website. Just lovely things, in a Blissful style.

Secondly the recent version of Cath Kidston’s Magazine popped through the letter box today. Many nice images in this. You don’t have to go the whole hog on the vintage-stylee, but there are some lovely things and I really do like some of the children’s wear. Mostly I will be tearing out pages from my magazine for spring inspiration and putting them up on the fridge and mood board to bring a little bit of cheery spring into the house.

  1. Thank goodness I’m not the only one who looks forward to Cath Kidston Mag arriving on the doorstep 🙂 If DB knew what wa sgood for her, she’d collaborate with you on a crochet book – that would be something I’d buy xxx
