Oh how I love a card through the post. Recently I have had handwritten letters from old friends – immediately their beautiful handwriting makes my little heart jump for joy. It is such a personal and lovely thing to receive. A dear University friend sent me this card as a word of encouragement – just when I was questioning ‘what the heck am I doing writing this drivel?’ It did the trick – just at that appointed moment.

Well my motto for the second half of 2012 will be ‘Attend life with zeal and joy!’

So, one reason you write this blog – is that when you add something new, an old friend gets all excited to see what’s new!!! Tonight she really did jump for joy!!!

Much love

Jude

Can’t tell you how much joy it is to receive a lovely parcel from Mrs R all the way down here in the southern hemisphere! She truly is a star! I, in comparison am a rubbish friend.
Love to you both!

What a lovely card. You have very thoughtful friends – and nothing you write is drivel – always cheers my day to pop by.

I have to agree with Tracey – nothing you write is drivel. I’m always interested to see what you’ve been up to and which mags your lovely work is featured in. But I do know what you mean – sometimes I think that way too, but then I usually receive a really nice a nice comment or response from someone and it makes me feel better. Keep up the good work, Lynne xx
