About this time of year I do go a bit pumpkin crazy in celebration of the harvest autumn season. For a while I have had in my mind the idea of a pumpkin baby hat which was crocheted. I was not entirely sure if it would work. But this little titfer passed muster, when Little B was able to identify it as a pumpkin straight away.
So inspired by the principle of my pumpkin tea cosy – this is my pumpkin baby hat. (In fact, I thought I had lost my pumpkin teacosy and got almost frantic turning the house upside down). The main part of the hat is worked without breaking the yarn and is great way to practice your back loop rib.
It has been such a while since I have posted a free pattern, so here you go. Find the pattern here and have fun making the tendrils and if you do think of making one yourself please do send me a photo.
