Let’s Get Crafting – Tallula range

LGC61

I love all the magazines that I design for. Each has a different style and look. Frequently the photos of my work on the professional models just blows me away. I can’t make the connection at all between something being created in our little house and the glamorous image within the glossy pages. I was chatting to another designer friend of mine who admitted that of all the work she does, it is her designs for Let’s Get Crafting magazine which has really given her recognition in the yarn scene. Even members of my own family regularly buy this magazine because they love the achievable and fun projects and they know that everything they need to start to make the fun designs is found within the magazine.

puffstitchmitts

For this issue I made some puff stitch fingerless mittens. I have been keen to make a version of this design for ages and I sense this might be my Christmas staple for presents in 2014. So quick, so practical.

LGCflowers

Other favourite projects come from designer friends Tracy Todhunter – who made these lovely flowers.

LGCflamingos

Lynne Rowe designed these wonderful flamingos, which have been trending everywhere on the internet.

LGCrussiandoll

Amanda Berry always makes a show stopping creature for the front cover – gorgeous and brilliant!

LGCelephants

I will also be make some of these gorgeous elephants designed by Irene Strange.

LGCmontage

Check out the breadth and range of designs available in this issue. Good value I think and so much fun.
