I have got to April, and it is only now that I have managed to start fulfilling one of my New Year’s resolutions! Spending more time in the garden. That is not a very good track record is it? In my defence it has been a very chilly Spring.
Yesterday I spent a wonderful few hours pottering and planting. I managed to finally plant some plants I have had ‘in-waiting’ for a very long time. I was so enthused that I jumped in my car, wellies and all and drove full of enthusiasm to my local plant nursery. Strike while the iron is hot – or rather the soil is vaguely warm.
With a little beam of sunshine and a drop of rain the garden seems to have sped up. I just can’t wait to see it in full flower and I promise myself and my garden that this is indeed the year when we get to know each other properly.
Time in the garden is definitely good for the soul. 🙂
Finally indeed… it has been chilly. They are beautiful photographs. I have fulfilled one of my new years resolutions too. Take a peek and see.
