Just a little bit of love

The last few years I have had a funny notion in my mind to create a little amigurumi figure which can be left as a token Valentine message for Big B. Every year they are enjoyed and then immediately adopted by Little B. Good job Big B is a generous, sharing soul. The first year I made Valentine Monster, who is rather bashful. Last year I made I Love you Kitten, which is mini image of our cat Bernard. This year I have a new idea for you….

My new little cheeky chap will have the messenger qualities of Cutie Hootie Owl. I can’t wait to share him with you.

So if you would like to take up your hook to create a love token for your nearest and dearest there are free patterns available. I don’t think that any of them should take more than a couple of evenings and are a great introduction to amigurumi crochet.

Valentine Monster is here. Cutie Hootie Owl is here and I love you Kitten is here.

Little Purple Monster is currently unavailable as a free pattern, but is the first I ever made for my little boy and is still much loved.

If you do make any please send me a photo and I will put them on the blog.
