Spring Flower Joy – Bought and Found

Oh how my heart loves to see these spring flowers – the ranunculus is my spring substitute for blowsy peonies from early summer and gorgeous pink New English Roses from September. Gorgeous. The problem is when I see them in the supermarket they speak to me very loudly and I find it difficult to walk away!

On the street corners around our city the most wonderful blossom is beginning to flourish. On a bike ride with Little B, we found a branch which had fallen to the pavement, it was so pretty we picked it up and popped it in my basket. Yes, the petals didn’t last long on the kitchen table, but a little bit of found floral display gives as much pleasure – perhaps even more. Have a lovely weekend x
