I just had to stop by and tell you about this wonderful new publication, Mollie Makes. I popped into a shop at lunchtime and spotted it at the till. I was immediately attracted to it, and it found its way (who knows how these things happen) into my basket.
The photography is lovely, the choice of projects are inspiring and all the hints, tips and tip-offs are brilliant. This is not a quick flick mag, it is a lying in bed/bath on sofa read, from page to page.
Some of my blog heroes are in this first issue. A lovely article about the mossy shed of Dottie Angel. Really nicely done. Plus a lovely little feature on Alicia Paulson’s book, Embroidery Companion. I have this book and it sits permanently by our bed.
Anyway, I am a big fan. I think a little subscription might need to sneak in. Well, it saves in the long-run….
