The V&A – a wonderful place

During the half term break we made a little trip to London. We had made a list as long as your arm of things we needed to see, wanted to see, had to see. Many museums were part of this hectic schedule. There are so many good places to visit in London that your really need to edit your wish list, and as a family we have some favourites which are part of a special request.

We waited patiently for 50 minutes (Count them) to go into the Natural History Museum and it still did not disappoint. The architecture it self is well worth seeing. But if you are crafty then the place to go is the V&A. I went for a couple of hours alone and it was such a treat. I was able to take my own bizarre route around this wonderful museum, backtracking when I so desired and sitting to stare when I saw something lovely. I had to be a little careful in the shop, there were so many NICE things. I treated my self to a little notebook and a postcard. It reminded me so much of being a young student. I felt quite refreshed!
