Handmade Living April Issue

I did promise that I would show you a couple of my favourite features from this month’s Handmade Living Magazine. There is a lovely article on Gifford’s Circus, which we saw last summer and the experience was really magical. Just looking at this article made me want to see them again this summer – Watch out Mrs J!

The applique teacosy on the front cover is delightful, made by the super-talented Chloe Owens. If I could only invent that ‘time-machine’ I desperately need this would be on the top of my ‘make-list’.

There is a fun and zeitgeisty project by Mini Eco. I know Little B, would think this was hilarious, so we might have a go in the Easter holidays.

I used to make these lovely patchwork balls with my friend Helen when we were young. They make a lovely gift for a little baby and this pattern is by Francine Schokker.

Finally do have a look at the article about illustrator Camilla Westergaard, who has designed some lovely circus inspired home-wares.

Oh yes, if you are a fan of the boot toppers in this issue, my friend Tracy Todhunter has also designed her version and the pattern is available in this month’s issue of the Craftseller.
