This is a quality kit, containing high quality yarn. It includes the yarn and filling to make the cacti and their soil – just add your own crochet hook and the pots you want to display you plants in.

Suitable for a beginner with assistance – but please take care with the finishing and stuffing!
Ball Cactus and Spiky Cactus crochet pattern – Both cacti are made crocheting in rows and then side seams are gathered to create the rounded ends. The soil is made in the round, working in continuous spirals without joining each round
Finished Size: Ball Cactus is approximately 9cm in diameter Spiky Cactus is approximately 12cm tall

What’s in the kit?

  • Cactus Crochet pattern – High quality printed written pattern in English, UK terms
  • Ball & Spikey Cactus – Sirdar Happy Cotton – 2 x Wicket & Jammy
  • Soil for both plants – Sirdar Happy Cotton – Cookie
  • 20g polyester stuffing
  • 1m Rico Creative bubble in White
  • 1 x Tapestry Needle

You will need a 3.5mm crochet hook and some scrap yarn markers, these are used to mark where the row begins and how many rows you have done. You can use some yarn from the kit but we’d recommend some colourful scrap from your stash.
The pots for these ARE NOT INCLUDED in this kit – you will need 2 x plant pots 9cm in diameter. A ramekin or teacup will also be ideal

Stitches Used: Double crochet, Magic Ring, Increasing and Decreasing (dc2inc, dc2tog, dc3tog).

*Please note: this kit won’t teach you how to crochet. Anyone with the basics of crochet should be able to make it but there area also tutorials on my blog www.emmavarnam.co.uk or you could buy my book – Crocheted Succulents.
