This crochet blanket uses the colourful corner-to-corner crochet technique and has all the vintage feel of a classic patchwork. You get TWO versions – US and UK crochet terms.

The pattern gives you two options: You can work the whole blanket in one piece. In some places the same colour of yarn is used multiple times per row. Alternatively, if all the changes are too challenging, work pattern as 80 individual 8 x 8 blocks, each made up of two colours.

The pattern has a colour chart and some techniques photos so you can master corner-to-corner crochet. The pattern is written in UK crochet terms.

I have used Stylecraft Special DK for the original blanket but why not use up double knit crochet in your stash.
