This crochet pattern creates a beautiful and colourful patchwork pattern using granny squares.
I have always been inspired by the geometric patterns of traditional patchwork and this pattern recreates the tradition quilt motif in yarn.
You get the pattern in 2 versions – UK and US crochet terms.
| To make the large blanket I have used a combination of Stylecraft Bellissima and Bambino. The large blanket is approximately 165cm x 165cm (65in x 65in) squareYou can make a Baby Blanket that is just one central star motif with the edging – approximately 60cm x 60cm (24in x 24 in) squareA Lap Blanket of 4 x 4 star motifs with the edging will be – approximately 115cm x 115cm (45in x 45in)The pattern is written using English Crochet terms. There are stitch diagrams and schematics to help you understand the placing of the squares. |
