I have so many little projects that I want to share with you – but I am actually finishing quite a lot of them that I am not finding time to sit at the computer. Plus this weekend it actually filled up with being social-able – shock horror! The title of the post is really to admit that most of my friends would think I was insane to crochet a wash-cloth. Who has time to devote to that? But do you know Big B bought some knitted cloths last year – as they reminded him of his mother. I couldn’t quite understand why, plus it felt like sacrilege to use something handmade to wipe away all the spillages in the kitchen. But do you know I am now a huge convert – they wash so well in the laundry and are utterly fab on the kitchen surfaces. So I decided to spend a few dreamy hours making some of my own.
One in crochet and one knitted – I will experiment to see which I prefer. They might become my new ‘thank you’ gift. V. unglamourous but enormously practical…wow, that pretty much sums me up!
