Christmas domestic bliss has not yet landed in our house – due to rotten weather, rotten colds, hard work and just a little cheeky bit of socialising!
However bit by bit the festive spirit is appearing on the decoration front. I am currently loving…my favourite Christmas foliage – red berries.
Some hooky nonsense in daylight – so rare, so precious….

I think that Ms Alsopp had a similar situation last week when buying Christmas ornaments. Sadly I do like a Christmas ornament or two myself and I still seem to manage to justify this habit! But I do love opening the box and reacquainting myself with them all. I buy many of my younger relatives a Christmas decoration every year!!! It’s lovely when they point each one out to me – my God daughter has 13!!!

PS Christmas has only just arrived in the form of a tree today in our house and I’m not sure if domestic bliss ever does arrive, although I do ask Santa!! We are recovering from a rather Messy Christmas event in church, most of which is making a very large mess in my car!!!
We finally got around to putting our tree up on Sunday and it was the most fun I’ve had in years! I just wanted to say thank you so very much for the stitchy postcards! They are gorgeous! I’m trying to persuade hubby that it would be ok to pin them up around my pc in the living room… he’s not so keen at the moment, but who knows, after Christmas maybe…
