Bailey Bear. Crochet pattern PDF

Teddy Bears have a very special place in my heart. Bailey Bear is a delightful bear, ready to accompany you on all life’s adventures. 

As a child my bear was my best friend, and we went on many adventures together. When you can make a toy for a child and there is a sparkle in their eye and they give their new bear a hug, you know you have created something special. When you buy this pattern you will have a great project to make a sweet toy for a very special person

Suitable for a crochet with some experience – please take care with the finishing and stuffing!

Bailey Bear crochet pattern – working in the round in amigurumi style, body made with minimal seaming, joining as you go. There are also images illustrating how to attach the legs together before you make the body.

Finished Size Approx: 35cm x 30cm

To make the pattern I have used a tweed DK yarn. The pattern uses:

• Sirdar Haworth Tweed DK – Harewood Chestnut (910) 2 x 50g
• 1 metre of dark brown yarn for the nose and mouth
• 20g polyester stuffing
• 2 x 13mm black safety toy eyes and washers
• 1 x Tapestry Needle
• You will need a 3.5mm crochet hook and some scrap yarn markers, these are used to mark where the row begins and how many rows you have done.

The pattern used UK crochet terms and will print off in 4 sheets of A4 including the front cover.
Stitches Used: Double crochet, Magic Ring, Half Treble crochet, Increasing and Decreasing (dc2inc, dc2tog).
