Inside Crochet Magazine – November issue

There is something rather special when you anticipate the new issue of a favourite magazine, it arrives and…ahem you have something in it. Besides the fact that I have a couple of designs in issue 34, I am loving the new look Inside Crochet magazine. The articles are thorough and a good meaty length. I love it when you learn something new. I have to say am slightly over awed by some of the designers. There are some seriously clever pieces in this issue.

But isn’t the photography dreamy? Love the muted tones. Firstly this is my Beatrice Cowl. Now if you know me or see me striding through the school playground, you might think, ‘You cheeky girl, you made this for you!’ Yes indeedy my friends I did. I foresee this little number being a fail-safe staple of the winter wardrobe.

Made in the softest yarn it is gorgeous draped round the neck. But ever since making ‘Glimmer’, I have been in love with Bergere de France’s Lavendou. Just a little hint of sparkle, just a little, tiny, wee hint of glamour. It is a quick weekend make (if you don’t budge from the sofa). It looks lacy but will quickly grow on the hook. I hope you like it. Later this week I’ll show my second make in the magazine, and some of my favourite makes from other designers.
