You do know that when I go a little quiet on you – with not so much show and tell on the yarn front – it is actually because I am working away in the background? I am so surrounded by yarn that I cannot even lift my head to think. So just to fill you in – I am making A LOT of tea cosies for an exciting project and really loving the process. But it does mean that general housework, cooking lovely meals and day -to-day admin does not get done.
The cat and his muddy paws is winning. Well actually he appears to be taking over the house and leaving black hair…everywhere. When people say that children wreck your house, they are wrong. Cats do. In fact Bernard is not in my good books – he has ruined a perfectly good armchair in the study. The exposed foam and piping offends me every time I walk in the room.
I almost cannot bear to show you this image…dreadful, naughty fiend. Today I have begun a little ‘me’ project which will hopefully return the balance in my favour. To make a loose cover….Hmmm…I could be some time. Will get back to you when I am done.
Feliway spray. Applied frequently. Expensive but a lot less than reupholstery.
